Bouchard Keeps Momentum, Topping $400,000 in Fundraising in Bid to Defeat Liz Cheney

After raising over $300,000 in just 10 weeks in his bid to defeat U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), Wyoming Republican State Senator Anthony Bouchard’s fundraising shows no signs of slowing down as the campaign just topped another milestone, reaching $400,000 in fundraising for the race.

“President Trump stated, ‘The Liz Cheneys of the world: We have to get rid of them,’” said Senator Bouchard. “It looks like conservatives across America, but especially in Wyoming, agree as strongly with him as I do. My campaign’s momentum is growing every day.”

To date, the Bouchard campaign has received over 9,000 individual contributions from all 50 states, over 600 from Wyoming. Just since the end of quarter, the number of email supporters has more than doubled.

Whether it’s voting to impeach President Donald Trump, stating she would not vote for him if he were the Republican nominee in 2024, or praising Dr. Fauci as “one of the finest public servants we have ever had,” Rep. Cheney has earned the ire of many conservatives both in Wyoming and across the country.

“A conservative state like Wyoming – which gave Donald Trump the nation’s largest percentage of the vote both times he ran – should be electing one of the most conservative members of Congress,” stated Bouchard. “But Liz Cheney is anything but a conservative.”

President Trump recently stated that he would endorse a challenger against Cheney “soon,” stating that “so many people are looking to run against Crazy Liz Cheney – but we only want one . . . the only way we she can win is numerous candidates running against her and splitting the vote.”

As Newsmax recently reported, “The former president reportedly favors State Sen. Anthony Bouchard, a favorite of the National Rifle Association, and the first Republican to announce against Cheney.”

“Others considering this race should look at joining my campaign now rather than splitting the anti-Cheney vote – which is what our enemies want,” Bouchard noted.

“We need a staunch conservative who can run the kind of serious campaign it will take to defeat Rep. Cheney.

“Conservatives in Wyoming and across the country are making it crystal clear with their outpouring of support that I’m the guy.”
